Nadahnuti uspjehom prošlogodišnjeg skupa te citatom "Dugujemo svoje postojanje tankom sloju površinskog tla i čudu kiše", na ovogodišnjem skupu "Regenerate Europe" 2. i 3. svibnja u Eko-kampusu Puljane, u NP Krka, produbljujemo naše razumijevanje regenerativnosti uz poseban naglasak na regenerativnu poljoprivredu i njenu ulogu u očuvanju klimatske ravnoteže, sustavnoj obnovi agrobioraznolikosti, jačanju prehrambene neovisnosti i otpornosti te kreiranju preduvjeta za svrsishodniju i sigurniju egzistenciju. Cilj nam je zajednički proučiti načine na koje regenerativni pristup može revitalizirati lokalnu proizvodnju hrane, skratiti lance opskrbe, ojačati turizam i gastronomiju te nam osigurati pristojan život i smanjiti ovisnost o makroekonomskim čimbenicima izvan naše kontrole.
Pri koncipiranju programa konferencije vodili smo računa o spajanju teorije i prakse, globalnih i lokalnih perspektiva te vas stoga očekuje raznolik program predavanja, panela i interaktivnih radionica kroz koje ćemo, uz regenerativnu poljoprivredu kao okosnicu, istraživati teme poput:
- Povezivanja turizma i lokalne enogastronomije
- Obnove lokalne proizvodnje hrane
- Inventarizacije agrobioraznolikosti kao preduvjeta stvaranja tržišne prednosti u turizmu
- Transformacijskog obrazovanja
- Alternativnih modela financiranja poljoprivrednih gospodarstava
- Utjecaja klimatskih promjena na dobrostanje i ljudsko dostojanstvo
- Smjernica klimatski-otpornog razvoja
- Upravljanja strateškim, organizacijskim i operativnim prilagodbama poduzeća klimatskim promjenama
Cjelokupni doživljaj ćemo upotpuniti i tjelesnom regeneracijom uz ekskurziju na slapove Krke i otok Visovac, a zatim i zajedničkom večerom u Konobi Campanelo chefa Mate Sučića koji je ujedno i sjajan primjer regenerativnih načela u domaćoj izvedbi.
Konferencija "Regenerate Europe" nije samo skup predavanja, panela i radionica, već i “glokalna” zajednica, prostor gdje se susreću globalna stremljenja i lokalne inicijative. Veselimo se druženju, razmjeni mišljenja i iskustava, sklapanju partnerstava, a ponajviše međusobnom prepoznavanju kao ljudi koji svojim djelovanjem doprinose zdravijem društvu i zdravijoj planeti. Inspired by the success of last year's event and the quote, "We owe our existence to the thin layer of topsoil and the miracle of rain," this year's Regenerate Europe gathering will explore the global movement of regeneration with a special focus on the role of regenerative agriculture in mitigating climate change. We'll explore pathways for a regenerative approach to revitalize local food production, shorten supply chains, strengthen tourism and gastronomy, enhance local food sovereignty, and boost local economic resilience.
Additionally, building on our commitment to combine theory and practice, global and local perspectives, we've broadened our scope to include a diverse program of lectures, panels, and interactive workshops on topics such as:
- Strengthening connections between tourism and local enogastronomy
- Revitalization of local food production
- Food sovereignty and preservation of native seeds
- Transformative education
- Alternative financing models for farms
- The impact of climate change on health and human dignity
- Climate-resilient development pathways
- Managing strategic, organizational, and operational adaptations of businesses to climate change
We will regenerate our bodies and spirits during a field trip to the Krka waterfalls and the island of Visovac, followed by a joint dinner at Konoba Campanello, a family farm and a farm-to-table restaurant, a great local example of circular economy with regenerative agriculture, gastronomy and tourism working in tandem to nourish, revitalize and inspire.
The "Regenerate Europe" conference is not just a collection of lectures, panels and workshops, but also a "glocal" community, a space where global trends and local initiatives meet. We look forward to a lively exchange of ideas, stories and experiences with a side of humorous culture clashes, tonal contrasts and jovial socializing.
