The festival grounds are located in the Pula area Štinjan, on the old Austro-Hungarian fortress Fort Punta Christo. Erected in the late 19th century, The Punta Christo fortress is one of the biggest fortifications in Pula. It covers more than ten thousand square meters and has 270 rooms. From the fortress, embraced by a comforting pine forest, visitors can enjoy a picturesque view on the northern side of Pula bay and National park Brijuni Islands.
Just a few minutes walk from the fortress you will find beautiful beaches where you can freshen up and relax in the crystal clear sea.
For those who prefer to avoid the sun, the fortress offers a variety of places for an afternoon chill. A terrace with a breathtaking view, where you can enjoy the summer breeze hidden in the shade, or a number of tunnels where the temperature doesn't exceed 25 degrees.
