WAKE the LAKE is a Tech-House music festival that stands for freedom, love, and being one with untouched nature. It is based beneath the old Motel Jezero on the coast of Lokve.

From 21st to 23rd of August you will be able to hear 12 Tech-House DJs spinning their music on a pontoon boat which uses two old water mills to propel it through the water, it happens to be the first and only of it's kind in all of Croatia. This area has two camping zones, chemical toilets (port-a-potties), a bar with all kinds of cold beverages, relaxing areas with games, and a beach that will be illuminated all night long.

Wake the Lake also offers daily programs that include a Yoga and meditation course, canoeing on the lake, boat races, and many other activities with prizes included. We are also including a program called the "Comedy Hour", the rules of which you'll have to learn at the festival. 😉

The goal of this festival is to increase and improve social lives and the touristic aspect of Gorski Kotar. This is an invitation for creating new, different programs for young people. We hope that people will be inspired by Wake the Lake.

There are 5 different organizations behind the scenes of Wake the Lake. They are all young entrepreneurs striving to make a difference in the world around them; CB Tiffany Delnice, Loud Silence, Kotar teatar, Croatian Way, and Grandpa Dynamite.
