Together, we've carefully selected two of their dance floor fillers, Teenage Mutants and Niko Schwind, for the 4th edition of tanzen on Feb 22.
*** Domestic line-up announced ***
On the scene from 2012, Teenage Mutants at first acted as a solo project. After 5 years, this Mainz based project revived as DJ duo - back in the game with more enthusiasm and energy than ever before!
It’s time to discover and enjoy their new path into a more inspired-techno sound. Teenage Mutants are of course keeping that remarkable wall of positive vibes, with the worldwide clubbing scene surrendering to their haunting grooves, foamy synths, bouncing basslines and laid back atmospheres.
Talent never falls on deaf ears, and for this very reason, TM have published numerous EPs on labels such as Sony Music, Ultra, Suara, Bunny Tiger, Hedkandi, Incorrect, Katermukke... The “Hanging on" collaboration with Andre Crom, hit the #1 Beatport Chart some time ago.
These two dance-floor-fighters finally found their way to Zagreb, courtesy of your very own Tanzen Kollektiv. We welcome them at the very dawn of their first full album release on Stil vor Talent.
“It took us nearly 8 years to find the right sound and spirit, but this year “Search For The End” finally releasing on Stil vor Talent, in two parts, in May and August 2019”
“You become responsible, forever, for what you’ve tamed” - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
'The Little Prince' inspired quote is, no doubt, fitting for Niko Schwind. This Berlin-based DJ and producer consistently demonstrates a deeply anchored love for, and close bond, towards house music – the art form he himself has tamed.
As a DJ, he travels the globe since 2001, having played in Sao Paulo’s D Edge, Sydney’s Spice Cellar, Zurich’s Hive, Paris Showcase, or Berlin’s Watergate. In his sets he creates a feeling of connection between himself and others, as well as within the crowd. It is only a matter of time before Oliver Koletzki takes notice of Niko’s productions and DJ skills.
Praised and supported by big names like Seth Troxler, John Digweed, Butch, Monika Kruse or M.A.N.D.Y., Niko’s energetic and precise sets thrill any international crowd - adding Zagreb on his tour map, this February for the first time ever.
“One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye.” – on "Gripping World", Niko Schwind's latest album on Stil vor Talent, clearly emphasising that music is the emotional extension of the heart.
