Prijava odnosno registracija za Global Day of Coderetreat 2015, 14.11.2015. u Floating point, Zagreb

TLDR

Imagine a group of people gathering in a room and coding all day. Just for fun. For free, as in beer. (There will not be beer.) Free lunch will be provided. The event is limited to 24 people. Bring your laptop.

Code-what?

Pick a person that you will pair program on implementing Conway’s Game of Life. The pair picks the language. The session lasts for 45 minutes or so. After the session, the code is deleted. Old pairs are separated and new pairs are created. Rinse. Repeat. All day.

The plan

• 9 am: Gathering at the venue.
• 9:30 am: Introduction
• 10 am: Pairing #1 (light breakfast should arrive)
• 11 am: Pairing #2
• 12 pm: Pairing #3
• 1 pm: Pairing #4
• 2 pm: Lunch, at the venue, provided.
• 3 pm: Pairing #5
• 4 pm: Pairing #6
• 5 pm: Drinks. Somewhere in the near. Optional.

What you need to bring:

• Laptop. It should be configured with all you need for coding.
• Headphones.
• Pen and paper, squared if possible.

If you do not have a laptop, come anyway. All coding will be in pairs, so we need 1 laptop per 2 people.

There will be some headphones, pens and squared paper at the venue.
