ERSTE Finnovation Hackathon is a high-stakes competition for world class mobile and web developers organized by ERSTE group, BeeOne and ZIP, and supported by Amazon Web Services. The main goal is to facilitate digital innovation in banking and financial services through creative new mobile and web applications.


TIMING AND VENUE
The event will take place during the March 9th & 10th weekend at the ZIP.Factory coworking space, Remetinečka cesta 7, Zagreb.

BASICS
Upon arrival and registration in the morning, the contestants will meet and quickly form teams of up to 4 members, learn what the challenges are (they will be kept secret until the start of the event), and hear a short intro to the rules, timetable, lunch breaks schedule, etc.

SERIOUS STUFF
The teams will have exactly 24 hours to put together a mock-up or a working prototype of their application that solves the challenge of their choosing, and prepare their pitch.

THE JUDGING PROCESS
After the pitches the contestants and the judging panel will vote for the winning team.

PRIZES

• Each member of the winning team will get a cash prize of 1337 €!
• If there is interest from both sides, you will be able to continue the development of your product in cooperation with the ERSTE group

REGISTRATION
People from various backgrounds are invited to participate: mobile and web developers, designers, and other creative individuals who think they can contribute and help make this Hackathon unforgettable.

Registration instructions: one person can register the whole team (up to 4 members), entering the necessary information for the other team members. Participants who know they are together in a team but are for some reason registering independently should make sure to enter the same team name in the field “Team”. Registration works on a first-come-first-served basis, so be sure to act quickly because the number of participants is limited.
